Anyone seen this anacs holder before?
I've searched the archives but can't come up with anything.

Someone took the insert from the old ANACS slab and put it into a Coin World style holder. It’s not an official ANACS certified slab.
On closer look it’s not even that. Just the Coin World self slab holder. Maybe with a cloned hologram or something.
I’m curious about the hologram
I was also. That whats why I'm a little confused
Agree with the Coin World slab. You can see their logo in the left lower corner of the slab shell. Looks like they also put a new label on the front of the slab. The ANACS logo on the reverse side was probably salvaged from a real ANACS slab.

It has the plastic insert from an ANACS holder that was cracked, the coin removed and the plastic saved. This is then married to a new outer shell from Coin World (you can clearly see the logo on the upper right of the reverse plastic) and snapped or sealed shut. It has nothing to do with ANACS.

Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.
If it's not glued closed, pop that coin out and show us the overdate. Please. Peace Roy

I think someone had cracked some old anacs holder and reused the full rubber or whatever material it is insert for this morgan and put it in a coin world holder.
Fake , homemade
Maybe the small holder was badly cracked and the previous owner just put it into the shell of a “Premier” coin grading holder which is what CoinWorld calls their large slabs.
a.k.a "The BUFFINATOR"
Old eyes can’t make this out

🎶 shout shout, let it all out 🎶
someone made their own label. possibly to include Vam 2
under that piece of paper could be what ANACS wrote, but could have been for another coin entirely
Nice 60 if that’s what it is.
On the white ANACS slabs, the hologram is attached to the insert so it is encased within the slab. Whoever did this just didn't remove it.
I'll have it in hand next week. It was a coin I took a chance on. I'll have more answers then hopefully
Great, we'll be here. Have a good day.
