For every hour they remain, approximately 700 civilians can be evacuated.
There are many whose lives depended on their service & I doubt they will ever forget it.

Simple minds believe in easy answers to complex problems. Thousands of people die every year (primarily Afghans) in suicide bombings every year in Afghanistan, it was only a matter on time once we gave them a consolidated target that we would be hit. Just because something is mismanaged doesn’t mean there is a perfect way to manage it.
All tragedies should be prevented but that isn’t life logical.

There was no politics in my post, only realities. I suspect most of the assumptions and politics are coming from people who have never been to Afghanistan or like capitalizing on tragedies to feign outrage. Actions speak louder than hollow words. Most of you are not smarter about this topic or the unfolding realities than the people at the Pentagon despite your ample Facebook feeds.
I take exception to people who think many of these brutalities are simply preventable
Just for perspective America has lost over 4100 troops and contractors in the last 20 years in that country. The grieving has rarely been this vocal for the previous 4088+ souls . But you do you, I have to get back to work.

While I agree that arm chair quarterbacking from those that never wore the uniform is nothing more than analytic throat clearing this thread was about those we just lost, not the politics surrounding it. I have requested this thread be closed before it flames up. Sad.
