Can't find much history about this bar was wondering if anybody knows anything about it they are asking $290. Thanks

    Are you worried it’s fake or something? Or just curious for more info about it?

    No not worried if it’s fake because seen other ones sell just wondering about the maker of it really.

    I've seen that style bar before.
    I thought maybe an elemental bar, but nothing on Google.
    Offer $280?
    Not often seen bars and with that LOW serialized number...JUMP ON IT.

    nice bar, seems pretty generic. Consider paying less for a top quality bar.

    I did find this one on eBay it's a 1oz silver bar but has a certificate of authenticity of the company gave me a little more information about the company it looks like the bars were probably made around 1985.

    Did a Google search for refine met silver bar...under images and found a 10 ounce on picClick.
    That bar was #383.

    Matthew did you buy it?

    I see several similarities including the plastic even. I feel pretty strongly it was made by them.

    That's quite a stretch for a Johnson matthey bar.

    Here is a 5 gram the seller said vintage 1980's

    I suppose you could send an email off to allengelhard and see what they know.

    The number 1 serial number 10 oz bar sold on eBay a few days ago for $406 That’s kind off high premium but because it’s number 1 I thought it would sell higher than that, when it’s number 1 of anything that’s really cool, if I had seen it I might have thought of buying it for that price, here is a picture
