I don't think there are any capped final value fees anymore.
For coins FVF is 12.35% if total amount of the sale is $7,500 or less, 7.0% if total amount of the sale is over $7,500.
If you have a store higher than the Basic level, it's 8.5% on total amount of the sale up to $4,000, and 2.35% on the portion of the sale over $4,000.
I've been selling there since 1999 and this is one of the reasons I've mostly stopped lately.
Thanks. Thats kinda what ive been figuring out. I bought a big collection and selling it, here on bst, and ebay. More action on Ebay than here.
I think i have. Basic store, costs like $20 a month
Despite the name I'm not affiliated with eBay, but I'm sure the reason they stopped capping them is because they also handle the payment side now. So because they let you pay with Paypal /credit cards (now 3.4% fee uncapped for Paypal), they have to not cap the fees or they could theoretically lose a lot of money on big ticket items.
If you're listing a lot of items @DontTellTheWife , you might consider a premium store because your fees for non bullion should drop from the 12.5 to I believe 8.5% (please double check that I'm right before upgrading your store, but it should be correct).

You don't need a premium store, you just need basic or higher. The fees are not lower for premium. The only thing you can't have is the "starter" store which has higher fees.

That's right, I was mixing up the terms "starter" with "basic". It's basic and above which have the reduced FVF.
Thanks guys!
Managed payments, better for us......
Yeah right!!!!!!
Actually, the fees are lower. I've saved a fortune in fees since the switch.
The $350 max fee is gone, but on anything under $5000 it is cheaper. And if you are selling bullion, need to be more like $10k

So it turns out w a store i am paying 8.5%
Right a little better.
I had to dig a bit into the transactions to see the details of each sale
I had an offer on a decent size coin and was really just trying to figure my net.
It worked out ok, better than i thought , and i made a decent profit!!!!!
Thanks everyone!
