How much +% covid effects price raise and Europe's new customs way 1.7 ?

Hello
Why asking price of coins have raised like +30-40% in last few years 2020-2022 ?

  • Will coins value come eventually down ?
    Anyone else experienced this ?
Value of silver and gold are pretty much same no huge jumps in charts.

I know EU launched 1.7.2021 custom taxes also to lower than <22euro shipments from outside the EU shipments which were previously tax-free. Now you got to declare every package outside EU and pay always custom taxes which is horrible.

But what else effects prices raising ?

COVID has seen worldwide lockdowns, forcing lots of people into staying at home far more than they would ordinarily choose to. This has caused much hardship and many people are struggling, while many others are finding themselves sitting at home, unable to go out to expensive dinners, holidays etc and finding themselves with nothing to do or spend their money on but indoor hobbies. Speaking for myself I'm more in that latter category.

Coin collecting is seeing a resurgence as a result.

I can only assume prices will "return to normal" once the rest of the planet does, when COVID is over.
