Pick a Peck
I recently came across a British halfpenny pattern in the Heritage archives (buried in a 4 coin lot) that was attributed as P-1165, a gilt restrike of 1797. It should have been a match to my NGC P-1165 so I got out the tome by Peck and compared the two. No dice! The Heritage example seemed to match up pretty well to the Peck specs but mine did not (the ship, the brooch, etc. ). My guess is that it's P-1156 instead but I'd appreciate it if someone could offer an attribution.
Heritage's first, mine second.

No, I’ve convinced myself it’s P-1056.

so is it 1 mismatched die or 2?
My last note had a typo , P-1056 when it should be P-1156.
