I think ''many'' coins are in slabs that could be rarer variations (I am talking Mexico) but are not labeled as such.

I could be wrong but it is the felling I get.

that looks like an overdate, maybe when was sent for grading, the add-on-services, variety attrbute check box was not selected.

and it was not took into account.

I assumed you grabbed it on eBay - nice buy. To give you an idea of how nice, I don't often even look at Cap and Rays and I sent what i thought was a good offer to the seller, who's actually about an hour away from me, on both that one and the pillar in 63. I didn't even notice the overdate, just looked at how well the eagle was struck and made my offer based purely on that. I don't think you'll find another pre-1842 Zacatecas eagle this fully struck. If i would have noticed the overdate, i would have BIN'ed it on eBay immediately.

Having said all that - this example belongs in your set. Congrats, Dan!

Edited to add: yes, 100% 1826/5 overdate

Don't tell @pruebas that you bought probably the best coin for the type on eBay.
