    I'd guess less as the underbidder no longer has to compete with the high bidder and I don't think you would suddenly have someone new enter that soon.

    If the person who won the coin is already willing to flip it, then there will be one less money source bidding and this calibur of a nonissue coin cannot survive much of that happening. It would appear to be a social standing item and as it was not intended for issue most likely will have a low bidding group. One must realize this is the first time this item has legally been offered for sale. Correct me if I am wrong. I feel it has had its run. JMO

    If there were only 2 bidders above about $14 million, then it stands to reason.. about $14 million.

    Not true at all. It’s only worth less if dumped on the market. I can’t tell you the number of times the purchaser of a trophy coin is offered a profit the very next week. In fact, Oliver was offered a profit on his mega purchase of the 1804$10, as was I on my purchase of the 1804$1 - AFTER giving the original buyers a huge profit. AND, in this instance, the underbidder actually bid higher than the winning bidder.
