Never saw that done to a walker, pretty cool. I guess if he wanted it to be more convincing, he would have selected two coins with equivalent wear....

Is there a seam on the edge of the coin where, after a lathe job, the 2 coins were stuck together ? It doesn't look like they were machined for one to fit into the other from the pics.

There's a seam right here. Magicians coin.

So then an edge seam? One half sticking out a bit further than the other instead of a "press fit"

Does one half fit inside the other - or 2 halves of equal thickness glued together - is what I'm asking.

One half fits inside the other. Here's a nickel. I found it in a roll, several years ago. About had a heart attack, until I realized it was a magicians coin.
