Hi. I am still trying to figure out how to tell if coins or real or fake. Do these look real? Why or why not? Thank you very much.

    I agree both are good.

    Can’t teach you authentication from photos and without numerous examples of both good and bad pieces in hand, It just takes experience. Get to know the look of the surfaces of your, and other authentic coins. You will eventually get a feel for it. Get to know other collectors of the series and look at their collections and ask questions.

    A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.



    A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
