    Since my cousin and mother are battling ALS, Lou Gehrig is even more special of a player. My three were posted a second ago. I am just missing number 160 to have all 4 of his Goudey cards

    Maybe they could retire #4 in all of MLB like Jackie? I mean he was the first ever player to get his jersey retired...

    1950 Callahan from a set my dad passed in to me as a kid. I played with them quite a bit growing up in the 70s/80s as I’m sure he did in the 50s and you can see some wear. But maybe more than anything, this set inspired
    my love for the game and its history.

    Those Goudeys are really nice. I've always thought the '34 #37 is the most visually appealing of his cards
