    That's right but, according to the list of candidates in the latest Numismatist, he's not running for re-election.

    I assume the candidates knew the format in advance. If they weren't prepared to summarize their couple top talking points in 30s, that is telling.

    It's been interesting to see the outreach and lack thereof. One of the candidates has been making the rounds of online coin club meetings, so I've seen them three or four times.

    I have to say I'm not impressed. The pitch of "I want to listen to your ideas" is great until they show up late and sign off early because of another meeting or call. Feels like M. Antonette auditioning cake vendors.

    Still, that person is more engaged than the other candidates...

    There were a few good answers, but you always run into those who like to speak and those who do not. A couple of the candidates might of well stayed home - no real input. Still - you have decent odds at being elected (7 out of 9). I heard enough to make my selection (or at least for four of them).

    And maybe you noticed that he never posted anything about coins, only politics. We don’t even know what he collected, if he even did.

    From my understanding of ANA Elections, they will both get their turn ;)

    Don has a lot of ideas. In the last election round, Don proposed a lot of ideas compared to the winner who pledged to continue existing policies. It will be interesting to see what platform wins this time around.

    I'm going to vote for Mark Lighterman - he's a good guy and I really enjoy talking with him about exhibiting. Plus, he's not an incumbent. Looking at the list of candidates, there are some folks who really need to finally retire.
