Other Grading companies

Newbie. I collected card as a child 30 years ago and finally went back to take a look at some of the cards. I have a bunch of graded cards from the final authority, pro grading, FGS, SGC, PGC, and BCCG. Are these companies reputable?

I trust SGC and BCCG for authenticity.

Most of those are somewhat fronts of problem cards, not SGC or BCCG (Beckett).

Most cards in Pro holders are trimmed. They seem to turn a blind eye to that.

Any thoughts on GMA or ISA? I have purchased some of these and the cards look legit and nice. I only use PSA for my own grading but trust SGC and BGS/BVG.

I do believe in "buy the card, not the holder" adage.
Early 2020, I did find a GMA 10 2013 Topps Nolan Arenado RC . Got it for $20 delivered.
Cracked it out and sent it to SGC and it did come back a 10. Flipped it immediately.

I compare GMA to BCCG without the Beckett backing. From my limited experience I have seen GMA 10s that were really PSA 7-8. I have a creased GMA 5, that would be a PSA 3. I don't think GMA over grades they just have lower standards. Just my opinion.
