I don't get anything at all when I try to open CoinTalk.
Do you mean you didn't have any problems or it's not loading?
Not loading at all. I am a member of CoinTalk. When I click on my CoinTalk bookmark, it does absolutely nothing. Hopefully they are just doing maintenance or something.
Since I mainly post there, it was experiencing lots of slowdowns the past several days and speed would return. A few posters warned something bad was going to happen, and it looks like it did.
Might be ddos attacks since there was a higher number of bots recently.

Weird... I hope the site isn't gone for good... That would suck
I doubt it, the owner, Peter, comes and goes on the site. He may already know what's going on or it may be a few days before he becomes aware. Usually, it runs pretty efficiently.
But it is annoying.
I wouldn't doubt the Reddit/Silver drama may have something to do with it.
i have a account there but the site is not working now so I'm here, but who knows what the issue is maybe someone will tell us exactly what is going on with coin talk

Maybe... Do you think Peter T Davis shut down the website on purpose?
Doubt it, not with the site having major slowdowns the past few days.
I believe it's hosted in the New England region...they are dealing with a whole lot of internet traffic at the moment lol! GME...Silver...Idiot CEO's from RobinHood...oops, did I say that one out loud?!

Well possibly that and a little weather issue called a Nor’easter.....
Nada for me too, just the endless circling on my browser. I mostly lurk over there, but I do like the site itself. Hope it comes back, can never have enough coin collecting sites!
I think Peter posted that he either up graded his server or bought a new one.
That may be where the issues are. Coin Talk is more relaxed and user friendly
in my opinion. Just sayin'.

Alright, so I was right with the DDOS talk. Unfortunate. I was wondering why there were 800+ guests at a time. Wonder how long before we are back up and running.

Welcome @DarkRage666 !

But the information here is from professionals
It seems there are several websites acting wonky this morning. Even this one took three or four times before it loaded. CT still won’t load.
