1993 sp derek jeter what grade would this one get.

i have had this raw jeter rookie for quite awhile but have not really thought about what it would grade. how can i tell if the card is to short for psa standards. the back worries me. the ball and his yankees logo looks to close to the top of the card. maybe if it is worth it i can send it someone since i do not have a psa account and get it graded for me.

if i were a betting man, i'd say min-siz.
Honestly, its hard to tell. These aren't exactly great photos nor multiple angles but I am guessing a 7 maybe an 8. Not sure if PSA will be even stricter when grading these with the recent price spikes.
i have a feeling that it would not meet grading requirements.
The cards merits are the cards merits, and price spikes should have no bearing whatsoever.
‘Should have no bearing’ but that's not always the case. I am sure that we can agree that we have all seen 8’s that should be 9’s and 9’s that should be 10’s. Go take a good look at some 1971 Topps common players in PSA 8 holders for example and then take a look at the star players in the 7 holders. Some graders are more stricter than others.
If you need another example, take a look at this PSA 8 DiMaggio I own. This should be an 8.5 hands down. Take a look at any other PSA 8 by simply doing a quick Google Search. 99% of them simply do not come close to touching this one, however, PSA simply will not bump this. I have tried on three occasions. So I don't sound biased either, I even acknowledge that there is a tiny black dot on the left side that would keep it out of a 9 holder and I have seen no 9's with this. I have seen 8.5's with this though. If this card read Dom Dimaggio instead of Joe, we would be looking at an 8.5 easily. So sometimes the players name and value does make a difference when it comes to grading high end card.
