Remind me again - Type Albums - what’s 7070 mean, what other different Type sets are there?

Just wondering. 7070 must mean something. And what determines which coins are included in different kinds of Type sets?
I think I used to know, but now I don’t.

It is just the Dansco Album number.
Whitman Bookshelf and Classic Albums had type set albums. Library of Coins also had type set albums.
Here is a link that shows all the coins that go into the Dansco 7070 Type Album.

And it is just the number.
Depending on the company that makes the type album and the year of release, there might be slight differences in what is included (for example, the older type albums didn't have a spot for a State Quarter).
All above is timely and correct.
The 7070 has developed a following in numismatic circles due to the nature of the album missing some of the very difficult pieces. It is approachable by almost anyone (at least over time . . . and depending on grade), but allows plenty of individuality in selections.
The Library of Coins, by comparison, is much more complete and challenging effort, and would take a different level of funds to complete both albums.
But you will find volumes of information here if you just type '7070' into the search engine.
