Martin Gengerke

Martin Gengerke passed away on December 18th. A true gentleman who freely gave advice. He has helped me many times with my fractional collection. He will truly be missed. Rest in Peace.

Yes, Martin was one of the good ones. It is sad news, indeed. We shared an appreciation for good dark chocolate, as well as some interesting stories around the dispersal of the archives of the American Bank Note Company. Yes, he was always very open and willing to share his knowledge.

Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.

Wow that is sad to hear. I like him a lot. He did so much for this hobby in so many ways. He will be missed but he has left a great legacy in the paper money world.
So many people lost this year.
    It’s very sad.
