That other thread with the seated quarter got me thinking about the attributes that make "my kind of coin." Here's one that I think captures pretty well the kind of thing I'm after. I bought this one in early 2018 after looking for the right Type 2 for what felt a little like forever. A few years at least.
It was a honest to goodness “scratch and sniff”. THC was unknown nor did I attempt to put it in the bong🙄

I think you forgot the “LOL” after your post. Registry Set Award? Ha, they didn’t even respond to my polite request to add
a set to the registry. But in their defense, I live in Texas where it is still a hangin’ offense! I’m thinking PCGS just didn’t need the possible / likely grief!
I just hope I don’t get arrested for having something that just “smells” funny.
I got this coin a couple of days ago and I am still smiling about it. Each morning I walk into my home office and look at it, then set it down and drive to work with a smile on my face.
This coin boggles my mind and "makes me smile", at the same time. How inexpensive it truly is! For a mintage of only 25,000. That's an average of 500 per state. Think how much scarcer this coin really is then the world famous 1909s VDB.
