Man, that is about as perfect of an obverse cameo is as possible.
Yep, that's one of the first coins I bought back after my last coins were took and that is when I graduated from high school. 🙂
Thanks coinlieutentant!!

Not by any means rare (modern restrike), but the combination of large silver coin and some of the prettiest toning I've ever seen makes this one of my all-time favorites among coins I still own.
Although its not my flat out favorite coin, a silver dollar from the 1700s for me is the apex of silver dollar collecting. I know its a common coin relatively speaking in a low grade with what many here would consider a low price tag, but as my 2nd most expensive coin, which I purchased in the past year or so, after the tumultuous 15 years which had me going from losing a job due to the housing market crash, to playing low stakes poker for a living in northern Wisconsin/minnesota/michigan. To a 5 year battle with my mom getting and succumbing to cancer while I started a now successful company, with 2 evictions throw in the middle while acquiring first clients, to a spine tumor which had me unable to walk for a year, and finally my dog passing in September...this coins means a lot as I look back at 2020 and despite all the terrible things going on was oddly my best year in many aspects of life, and this coin is the highlight of that purchase. Not white whale, a Proof Peace dollar is my white whale, and the PL Peace dollar I've already acquired my grey whale, this is more like my killer whale.
@ACop tough road you’ve had! My sympathies. And yet you’ve likely gained perspective and a serenity that comes from gratefulness. Your coin represents a gift to yourself and a reminder of what you’ve survived. Am glad your collection brings you joy!

This one...every time I see it I remember the 11 year old boy who worked for 5 weeks mowing his grandfather's lawn to earn the 5 bucks it cost to purchase. Then, it took another month to persuade the shop owner to sell it to me. He insisted that I convince him I that I knew why I wanted this one instead of a different 1794 cent for the same price (or a dozen wheat cents for half the price.) 57 years later I still have it and I'm still hooked on coin collecting.
Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.

It was a honest to goodness “scratch and sniff”. THC was unknown nor did I attempt to put it in the bong🙄

Thought Ike deserves some love... Most of them look horrible. Actually a nice coin when you find them clean like this IMO

What a beautiful 2 cent piece!
Common Coin but it does have a special place in my collection.

Thank you! I overpaid for it by quite a bit, but.... oh well.
Santa Franklin! Got it today!
Coins like that tend to be worth much more that your run of the mill specimen.

I found this in change , sent it off to DGS (can't be many of those around).
I still have it and do enjoy looking at it ever once in awhile.

This Conder token brings a smile because of the prominence of the good general's nose that I understand is accurately depicted:
