Weird, those yellow names are just printing defects, right? Its yellow by virtue of not enough color to make it red As opposed to like in the 1969 set where the last name is in yellow/white.

Do you ever buy MINT 1980's to sub for PSA 10's yourself? Does that tend to be any cheaper overall considering misses?

wow, you and Russell are battling it out there at the top - separated by only 0.03 set rating. that's fun! amazing! such a great set.

Yeah, I think the "yellow" names are just printing defects. Not like '69 variations.

I do sometimes buy raw cards to submit. I have had some success with this, but not cheaper overall, especially with misses.

Wish I could see Russell's checklist. Separated by only .03, but that .03 is a challenge for sure. Very fun set to put together.

yea, that's pretty annoying but I get the reasoning behind it. the only sets I have private are the ones where I'm behind someone (and closing in like you are) and the guy I'm chasing has his private.
