Class VI DDR on a 1938 Lincoln

I have been a variety collector for longer than I want to admit. Varieties fascinate me.
When it comes to errors....I am usually clueless. I have a grasp of basic errors likes clipped
planchets, double struck, off center etc, but when you tell me a coin flipped over during striking and
was restruck 4 times by a capped die from a foreign coin while rotating 145 degrees between strikings
well then I have to refer to guys like Fred and the Capt who can identify what happened in a few seconds.
Varieties are in my wheelhouse. I understand how they happened. Most all except the Class VI Distended Hub Doubling.
I know no one can really nail these 100 % as to a cause and that drives me nuts. Doubling from a second hubbing
with a distended die, a tilted die, an improperly annealed die yada yada yada.
Anyway, here is a nice example of a Class VI DDR on a 1938 Lincoln. I believe it is the DDR-2.
My first PUP on these is the oval dots seen in EPU. Look at how pronounced the thickening is on the L and U's in EPU.
Hard to see in these pics but there are split serifs seen.
If anyone has any thoughts or insight into this class or cares to show an example of Class VI doubling that would be great.
But just wanted to put this on the radar of a few of our newer variety hunters out there.
And they are out there if you know what to look for. Be sure to look at the 36's because there is a strong DDR on that one too.
This coin appears to be an earlier die state than usually seen with this doubled die.

Nice! Similar DDR's on other dates, including 1937, 1943, and 1955 proofs (paired with a nice doubled die obverse).
Thanks cmerlo1
Here is a link to the Variety Vista page showing the DDR with many pics.

Thats an excellent example. Here is one you won't see too often. 1924 DDR MS 63 R&B.
That is a very nice 24 DDR WS.
I know I have circulated examples of the 34 and 36 but I don't think I have ever cherried a 24.
I'll try to find pics if I still have them. If not I know I still have the coins
