Been in the card game for a while but never Jordan’s till lately and the frenzy is real so I'm looking to get my feet wet....
Looking to buy this lot from someone I know for an investment.....he’s asking $2k but I think I’ll make him a $1500 offer....

Just curious, which card are you considering his rookie? The earliest card I see is 89-90 Fleer, which if I can count correctly, is the 4th year that Fleer made a card of him.

give him a lowball offer and see how far he comes down first. Look up the cards and see what they are selling for and you will have a better idea. I also think Jordan cards (non rookie) will cool a little pretty soon

^ Agree, you are looking at it as if these are PSA 10's. There might not be any in the whole bunch.
Look at the corners under magnification and check centering on cards with borders. Cards must be perfect to be investments.
Don't spend any more than you are prepared to lose.

$200-300 if you want to make money. There are a bunch of cards in that lot that sit in boxes at shows for $2-3 and don't sell. Everyone that has a bunch of Jordan cards thinks they have a gold mine. Problem is....everyone has a box of Jordans.

Yeah, gotta say someone really got hosed there. I bought a collection a few years ago and sold off most of the better cards and probably have multiples of each of the ones pictured and when I say multiples, talking as many as 15 of some of them and can tell you 819 is questionable and could be price manipulation more than an actual sale. I was going to say somewhere around 300-400 max retail
