PayPal Balance $0 Despite Being Paid

I sold a coin on Ebay today, and despite receiving a payment received confirmation, my PayPal balance shows $0.00 available. I've been selling on Ebay for many years, but I've never had this happen before. My activity history doesn't show anything out of the ordinary. It just shows that a payment was received, and completed. Have any of you experienced this? Thanks in advance for your replies!

Was your account migrated to the ebay managed payments platform?

I’m not quite sure what that is, but I’ll look in to it.
Also did you receive an eCheck because that would have to clear before it would show up in your PayPal Balance.

Under the transaction, the payment shows as completed, so I’m thinking it’s not an eCheck. Thank you for the thought though!
I went through their help section, but couldn’t locate a phone number. I thought I would give it until tomorrow, and if still doesn’t show, I’ll send them an email.
what does your eBay seller dashboard say?

It shows that the item is awaiting shipment, and there are no items awaiting payment. I did shoot PayPal a message a few minutes ago, so hopefully they'll be able to help offer an explanation. Thankfully the item isn't terribly expensive, it's just something that I've never seen before.
@Agflyer I had this happen with a payment from the BST on here. It showed up a few hours later. Not sure if it the same issue you are having or not.

is there a hold on it? Click the dollar amount and see if there are notes. If you are new to PayPal or haven't used it in a long time, they may place a hold until after the item has been delivered for a few days.
That’s what I’m thinking might happen. I posted the question originally because I was curious if other people had experienced the same thing. Your response helped to validate that. Thanks!
I’m a frequent user, and it doesn’t look like there is a hold. In fact, the transaction shows that it’s been completed.
I agree with the others. It is time to call PayPal.
I bet your account is on managed payments platform. If so, you won't see the funds in Paypal anymore...ebay will transfer the funds to your bank account.

I do appreciate all of the responses! It's prompted me to research the managed payments on Ebay, and it looks like something I'll need to pursue. In the meantime, I just got off the phone with PayPal, and was told that the site is experiencing some latency issues right now. She assured me that the money is there, it just doesn't show up in my balance at the moment. Apparently it's an issue that's happening among lots of people today, but it should be resolved by early tomorrow. Anyways, that sounds like a reasonable explanation to me. Thank you again! I love these boards, and although I don't post very often, I've sure learned a lot over the years!
surprised you got through on the phone.
I did get resolution via a live chat with them from the PP account. Just be sure you are in the PP account you wish to discuss with them. Yep, made that mistake.

a buyer can mark an item as paid and not pay. fwiw
if you are signed up managed payments, it is probably that.
i have payments come in but it doesn't show the transaction for a little while. annoying when i'm trying to verify information and/or print shipping labels. then i have to another route(s).
Everyone thinking it might be managed payments must think the OP doesn't know what he has done. You have to sign up for managed payments, register a checking account, etc. etc. Mangaged payments still does not support coin sales if this was a coin.
