1982 Topps Baseball Unopened Boxes

With all the unopened mania going on, I wanted to know if 82 baseball boxes are worth buying. Wax or rack? Thanks.

Cello imo. Track down a Blackless...the most valuable and rare 82 Topps variations :)

Even if no Blackless, wax is tough to Gem with a TPG.

82 and 83 used to ride together in price range, 83 is showing it's the clear winner in that race (for good reason). If I were to buy an 82 box, it would be wax unless the rack box was FASC.

I believe in our spring 2019 group rip that 82Tand 83T wax packs were both priced
    at $8.25 per pack.
Then our rip a month ago 82 packs were $14.50 and 83 packs were $22.
And then there's 81T football packs. In the group rip a month ago they were $40 per
pack and now a month later BBCE is selling them for $50 per pack.

Its all good. As long as its Topps and has at least one good rookie (Montana, Ripken)
they just keep going up. Better than the stock market.

I've got 3 82 cello boxes FASC on the way. I can still remember opening up a full wax box of 82 Topps watching the Ice Bowl between Cin and SD in January 1982.

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
