1940 Merc PCGS MS68+FB Rainbow Stunner, New Plate Coin

I've owned this coin for about 20 years. Worldclasscoins submitted it for me for a regrade and it came back as a 68+FB. It is now the coinfacts plate coin for the date. I never thought I'd have a plate coin for anything aside from toned Lincolns.

<3 THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL COIN <3 ....... Love it! Will you hold longer or will you plan to sell in the near future?

Leaning toward holding it. I could use the money to improve my Lincoln set, but honestly, that set is close to maxed out as it is. It's a struggle just to get a hundredth of a GPA point at this point.

Not really looking for much these days but if I were, it might be a toner.

    That is an amazing 1940! Here's my 1940 . . . a measly 67+FB. I'll eventually resubmit and try for 68.
