John Daly. I remember when he was arrested for passing out drunk at a Hooters in Winston Salem NC. I actually lived in Winston Salem at the time and have been to that Hooters before.
    John Daly just loves hooters!

Unfortunately in this atmosphere I believe Hooters will become just another failed restaurant chain.
The girls posing with John are not the most attractive Hooter girls I’ve ever seen. And that’s putting it nice as I can.

Here's my John Daly story. I was playing high limit blackjack at the Stardust Casino in Las Vegas in early 2000s at like 3 or 4 in the morning. There was a guy playing in high limit slots, off by himself. I was never really paying him any attention, never really got a good look at him, nor was I trying to, as he mostly had his back to us. The waitress kept making her rounds, stopping there first before hitting our table. At some point the guy left. Waitress came by and commented how much the guy had been drinking, how much he had been tipping, and how much he had been losing. She said, "I think he's supposed to be somebody famous." From where I was seated, I could see that the player's card receptacle was lit up. He'd left his card in there. So I got up, walked over there, and pulled it out.

Kept it all these years. No idea if it was really him. Yeah, it was a large white man, blondish hair with a ball cap or a visor on. Yeah, he was playing high limit slots, LOSING, drinking, smoking. Las Vegas impersonator that's gone so far as to legally change their name, maybe? Some random sales rep from Wisconsin named John Daly? Somebody running some kind of scam, a long con? I don't know. Like I said, I wasn't really paying that close attention at the time. Might have been him, might not have. But over the years, I've talked myself into thinking it was John Daly, the professional golfer. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. At the very least, I have a neat piece of memorabilia from a no longer standing casino.
