    I experimented! Here's the materials I used.

    Then boiling HOT water.

    I know I shouldn't of mixed both the baking soda with acetone. Could of been dangerous. I was extra cautious. Let it sit for hours while stirring every now and then. Then lastly, I rubbed the coin very gently with the baking soda solution in the container. Finally, I rinsed with warm water. It seem to work! Sure, Still has corrosion but not as before. I think it now looks great. Opinions? Thanks

    Looks good from your pics but hopefully you didn't put any hairlines on it from rubbing it with baking soda. It looks like it might straight grade but I'm not sure it's worth the expense to get it slabbed.

    Thanks! Yeah, you're probably right? but at least it won't get penned "The Ugly Duckling" anymore. Lol. ;)
