Colorful Lincoln NewP's

I picked these up at the B&M this morning, and just finished photographing them. The reverses aren't as nice as the obverses, though I do like the reverse on the '56-D:

    Beautiful color! It's funny you said you picked those up today. I too, went to my B+M today also. Yes, I picked some color coins too. I'll post later. A couple of Mercs. Not as good condition as your's however. Excellent Pics taken by you to boot! :) here are mine;

    Ah, classic mint set toning. The reverses on those get pretty dark pretty quickly. I have several that have great obverses but the reverse is just lifeless with no luster.

    Nothing like that at all at my B&M. Same old stale inventory of modern stuff. I just needed some supplies that I wanted today.

    That's what I was thinking. These were actually loose with a bunch of other assorted coins they'd bought the day before, waiting to be put into 2X2's and priced. The box actually contained an MS 1937-D nickel (which I bought as well), but no other coins that appeared to be from pre-1959 mint sets.

    Fortunately, I have a few B&M's to choose from. Chances are, if someone has a collection to sell, it will end up at one of them.
