HOLEY SMOKES BATMAN!!!!!! - 3 of 3 submission grades posted.

PCGS Bank Notes received my 3 submissions on 6/03/20. Being the impatient person that I am I was checking my orders and noticed this:

Grade finalization and encapsulation

It seems I will have grades soon,,,,,, hope I am not too embarassed to post them. :o

I have never submitted any paper money for grading before but I am well seasoned on the coin side,,,,,

I am expecting all 42 notes to grade 70 PPQ ;)

    Good Luck, and loose the “MS” in your grade description.

    No grades yet but here is a rough list of what I sent in.

    16 - Silver cert from 1928 - 1957
    2 - $2 Federal Reserve Notes 1928 & 1953
    3 - $5 Federal 1929 & a Silver Cert
    1 - $10 National Note 1929
    3 - $1 Bills - 1963 - 1985 - 2003
    3 - 1976 $2 Bills 1st Day of Issue
    3 - 1963 - $$2 Bills
    2 - $5 Notes 1995 & 2006
    2 - $10 Notes 1995 & 2004
    2 - $20 Bills 1993 & 2004
    2 - $50 Bills 1993 & 2004
    3 - $100 Bills 1993 & 2009

    I have always liked paper money and have 18 or so pcs already graded by PCGS & a couple PMG notes. On the submissions most of the earlier dated notes will be high grade circulated and the more modern should all be 63 or above. I got most of the newer ones at the bank at face falue over the years and just wanted to see how they would grade. Not expecting to make any "BIG SCORES" but this was part of my raw collection, if they do well I have alot more to submit. Hopefully you guys will be able to give me some rough estimates on the value of the notes after the grades pop.

    The 1st Day of Issue 1976 $2 bills I stood in line at the bank to get them and then took to Post Office to get a stamp and cancellation stamp. I was 18 yrs old at the time.

    2 of 3 orders posted grades,,,,,, the big 25 note submission hasn't posted yet.
    If anyone can tell me what these are worth I would appreciate it.
    Not dissappointed,,,,,, pretty much what I was expecting,,,,
    Can anyone tell me on 2nd Submission Line 3 = Wide,,,, is that referring to the margins?

    So you are saying that there isn't much of a margin on the back?

    Thanks for that info,,,,,, can any of you Paper Money guys tell me off the top of your head which are the better notes in what is listed above? Are any of them worth more than face value plus gading costs?

    Here is a grade I wasn't aware that they would grade. It is a National Bank Note I purchased at least 30 years ago because it was from my hometown. They listed it as teared & repaired which I was unaware of,,,, didn't realize that they would grade repaired notes? Yes, I was all excited when I saw I had alot of POP 1 none higher notes and then I realized PCGS Bank Note data is only a few months old and doesn't include the old PCGS Currency numbers. :o

    PCGS ships coins in nice plastic boxes. Can anyone tell me what PCGS Bank Notes are shipped in?

    And the answer is,,,,,,,,a nice cardboard box,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    I see a few typos in your list. They left off the GEM 70 grades you were expecting :D

    Nice little group of notes you have there. Congrats and keep on collecting. You can never have too many notes.
