    nothing odd about the notes themselves, just the fact that they are in sequence. You currency guys and gals probably see this frequently, it was just something new to me.

    OK. Modern US paper money is distributed in packs of notes with consecutive serial numbers.

    I think that on occasion (not common) an entire stack of star notes makes it to circulation.

    Yes they do make it into circulation, unless I get my hands on them!!!!

    That's 500 consecutive * notes.
