    Realize that some of the members have been collecting coins for a long time and have the means to afford high quality coins that are out of the price range for many starting collectors. Enjoy what you can afford and don't be discouraged when looking at posts of coins that would amount to many months of paychecks. I collect what I like but will never have a collection that is in the same tier as some of the members on this board. I'm still happy with what I have and am also happy for those others that have put together great collections and are willing to show them to all of us.

    this is true and correct. And it's a hobby so just have fun without stressing.

    Step 1: Go to Walmart and scour the parking lot.
    Step 2: Pick up coins with gloved hands.
    Step 3: Place coins on the floor and hold your iPhone 3 above your head to take a fuzzy image.
    Step 4: Blow up the image and post as a rare error or double die.
    Step 5: Ask for opinions.
    Step 6: Provide combative responses arguing how awesome the coins are.

    ;)

    Step 7: Get bammed! ;)

    3 I sometimes wonder if forum members would say their comments face to face. ( some hide behind their keyboard )

    2 Some comment just to watch their numbers increase.

    1 There is a wealth of knowledge among the members here. And for that, I am thankful. I've learned alot.

    So, before you criticize anyone, try walking a mile in their shoes. Then, you will be a mile away and you will have their shoes !

    I’m new- just started posting last Year. Some of my observations:
    1. Incredibly knowledgeable persons here, who, if you are nice, they will teach you a lot (example: long time member informed me about the Mint posting coins for sale the next day early- allowed me to purchase the 2019s enhanced reverse proof ASE last year);
    2. If you have a question: Search the archives before posting your question. Huge database of useful information. Your question is probably not new.
    3. Bring thick skin.

    I’ll co-sign that one😂.

    The number of stars after a user name do not represent anything meaningful.
