1812...Post Whatcha Got

I hope to do a complete MS one day in AU or Better (minus the gold). Maybe in the next few years...but the spending on my other hobby will have to stop for a while so that I can allocate a few funds towards this hobby again. These things aren't rare but nice examples don't exactly grow on trees. I think I recall Lance sharing a drool worthy 1812 50c at one time.
Here is my VF25 1812 50c. What do you have to share, non-gold or gold...I'm happy to look at it all.

Great date... weighs heavily in our nation's history and as a final year for the Capped Bust Left Half Eagle design.

My lone 1812 coin.

A controversial 1812

Thanks for remembering, @keyman64. Here are some different examples.
In 1812 bust half dollars were minted with just 10 die pairs. Pretty average for the very early years. One of the most important, and elusive is the Redbook 1812/1 large 8, particularly in higher grades. An attractive VF can easily run well into 5 digits.
A fun example is the O.106 with its myriad die cracks and breaks. You gotta wonder what compelled the Mint to continue using crumbling dies after beating the obverse to death with the O.105.
Conversely, the O.109 is often spectacular in strike and detail.
Others are hit and miss. The O.104 below is a favorite. AU58+.
The O.110, last below, also AU58, does not have the crisp strike of the 109. As its die state deteriorated and, due to excessive lapping, it resulted in the very rare "single leaf" R6.
Lance.
All are fantastic! Glad you could share, thanks!
