    Kyrgyzstan, One Tyiyn fractional note. I've always liked the eagle on these.

    So do I, beautiful eagle. Foung the site being a 1993, Does the serial number or I should say the prefix have any meaning.

    Not sure about the significance of the prefix. I'm not an expert in the series, but happened to get one in a lot of world currency. Mine has prefix 31/TS.

    It's just a nice, well used note. No value. In UNC it's a buck. But, yes, from Kyrgyzstan. 1993 series. They were issued in 1, 10, and 50 tyin and 1, 5, and 20 som. Higher denominations wouldn't be added until 1994.
