Should be interesting considering all that has happened in the past several weeks. I got out and did some work in the yard, uncovering beds and stuff like that while enjoying the pups. Now it time to play the waiting game for my lots.

If you're bidding/watching, please share what you've won if you're so inclined. So far there's a lot of Internet action so I would ask if there is anyone even allowed to be at the auction??

I was disinterested. Then I looked at the lots. ;) Mine don't come up for a while.

moving along at about 90 lots an hour, I just watched a nice 1945 Assay medal sell which used the Libertas Americana design for the obverse and wondered if forum member cardinal may have been the winner. it would fit his collection nicely. :)

Your screenshot of the floor bid was from a phone bidder...
Sparse crowd, but a ton of activity.

So how were prices, overall? I was watching a few lots and felt they went for about 10% low. I would have contributed a bid or two under different circumstances.

Interesting. I wonder why they called it a floor bid then. Was the phone on the floor? ;)

Some items sold for healthy amounts and some sold at step discounts. I bought thee steep ones and missed out on the cheap ones - lol.

The prices felt strong the 3 most expensive pieces I was following.

Some other pieces felt like they went low to me. Bifurcation.

And people still need to send in a check in a week or two or three to compete the circuit.

I won one of 4 I was bidding on :D probably for the better.

Prices were strong in the bust coinage. I watched most of the auction. I thought prices would linger about 10% low or more and most didn’t.

    BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.

--- a note about the prices: i received the "post auctions buys" e-mail from Stack's and it seems to me that the list from the first 3-4 sessions is larger than usual, a good proportion of the unsold items being high end.
