@derryb . Yes, I found him to be very entertaining among other things. But I guess he slipped up and said something derogatory.

Sometimes I have found it better to just yell at the screen and never type it out.

Though, depending on what you say and where, that might get you in real jail.

    That's my two cents.

I employ the "24 hour rule" and "when in doubt, don't" mantras, so my Drafts folder is almost two times as large as my Discussions folder. Good way to vent, and why I have less than 500 posts in 15 years.

No bans, time-outs or warning pms here. But. I did create a "Welcome Heather" post when she first arrived. She closed it down, saying it wasn't coin related. :o:) Does this count? :D

If we were all the same, the world would be an incredibly boring place.

Any one here know the difference between a Level One Warning or a Level Two Warning? Is there a Level Three or is that the Permanent Ban?

I was going the forum sticky on book/library and saw that RogerB was bounced.

How does somebody with that much gravitas get himself banned?

Let me get this straight, you were at a library and inside of a book there was a sticky that said RogerB was banned, lol.

Edit one more time I'm still lost, so there's a sticky library book here on the forum? lol just playing but seriously inquiring minds need to know.

IMO, if you constantly push the rules, attack something our host does, ignore warnings, etc. you make yourself a problem and that goes for ANYONE. It seems we get a fairly long rope but we are censored. Nevertheless, several folks who have worked/work at other TPGS's are even allowed to post as members. :)

There apparently is a level 4. A few of us got that over in the PM forum for the caucus thread, mine was for a sesame street muppet pic, was in 'jail' for 2 weeks.

The ole, what are you in for stories and everyone is innocent :D Apparently mine was a misdemeanor as all I got was a friendly reminder about the rules from the lovely young lady, back to coins :#

Thanks! So far I have learned: There are friendly warnings (level 1 & 1 point?). Serious warnings (level 2 & 2 points) expires in 2 weeks.

Anyone unfortunate enough to reach Level 3?

Level 4 is a two week vacation.

    Next must be "banned forever."

Guess it works like a driver's license. Points garnered in a certain amount of time and the seriousness of the infraction.
Additionally, the mods can disregard any of the usual levels. Gulp.

How do you know they use a point system? This is news to me.

Because I just got "2 BAD Points" the other day and if I screw up again within a certain time period, I'll either get more bad points, be on a time out for getting more bad points so soon, or get banned permanently. I'm tempted to stop posting for awhile just to be sure I don't screw up. :(

That's why I'm curious about the levels and points although as I posted with respect to ANYONE being allowed to stay on the forum, it is up to the moderators. They are under no obligation to treat situations/members equally. I have been treated very fairly. Therefore, I have no complaints about anything that has happened to me as a member here.
