Hi guy's, I thought pretty hard on this discussion whether I should post or not? So here it goes. Our dear Heather. LOL. I know. I hope I'm not going to be in this "Elite Group" after this? Let's just try to be "good boys and girls" and they're won't be any harm done. Are you unfortunately in this group? Has Heather ever had to zap your thread? So far, none for me. I know we can get emotional in our posts and threads sometimes but we all have to not let it get to us personally. Heather, is only doing her job, in which, she's doing great at! She has to keep order. It's only right, isn't it? She's sort of like that principle in school. When her students (us members) get out of hand, has no choice but to cut it off. She too, isn't doing this personally, it's just her job. It's funny, I mentioned that she is similar to the principle here. This is how I greet new members. With the slogan, "Welcome To School". We must remember, were only here to LEARN and have FUN! Not to disrupt or to fight. Now, I'm sounding like a principle. LOL. Can't we all just get along?

as far as I know I have never been a part of any elite group.

I try to keep my points equal to my post count.
It keeps me grounded and makes me feel special while trying to be positive and helpful.

Don't believe I've every been nixed, reprimanded, or slapped on the wrist.
The young me would not only be causing trouble, but jumping into any troublesome discussions with wild abandon. But I learned in my late 20's how to restrain myself. "It's just not worth it".
No reprimands so far....

Frankly, I would be embarrassed if I was subject to a timeout, banned or if one of my threads were closed because the topic generated "questionable" discussion. It's pretty simple to stay out of trouble.

My threads keep getting deleted, but then I just switch to one of my other aliases. So what if I'm off subject, not talking coins, dissing other members, using profanity, making fun of other grading companies, bringing up politics, general ranting and raving, and asking silly questions about parking lot coins.

Trust me. The only thing worse is trying to log in to the forum and after a few tries you discover it is not a connection problem.

I got slapped around once or twice when a post turned political and I started to predict the demise of the democratic party and how, oh wait a minute never-mind.

Read the rules. And don't step on the feet of the "ELITES." I do miss so many members over the years who stepped over the line.
Totally agree even as a newb. Currently I'm still startled and hoping some of these guys reincarnate and bring back some humor/knowledge/moxie. This hobby is made up of and created by a generation/s that wasn't afraid of poking your safe space bubble. Because those either did not exist or to be politically correct were not recognized back then.
So, as a moderator you would have to assume or rather afford some leniency to the actual elites and in today's world I think she does a pretty good job of commingling the two.

Welcome to my pity party.
I had a post disappear last week. I may not be around much longer as I feel I've been tolerated up to a point. So I'll say goodbye to everyone now just in case I screw up. Its been fun and I've learned some good stuff. The only good thing if I get banned is I'll be in good company with some of the truly elite former members I really enjoyed posting with.
