    The immediately above attribution is likely not correct. The piece is India-British, Bombay Presidency (United East India Company), the denomination is 1 and 1/2 pice, should be dated either 1791 or 1794. The weight of the coin is correct, more or less. The coin is oddly thick and thus the date is not struck up. This oddity might be significant. Were these milled coins struck in England and this a native copy?

    The device on the back is a set of balance scales and some letters in Mughal(?). The original photo of the reverse is upside down.

    I am open to any corrections. I think the coin is oddly desirable.
