What online coin dealers do you use?

I realize that going to a shop in person is usually better, but having none reasonably close to me I'm kind of limited to shopping online. I was just wondering what online coins dealers everyone uses besides from the obvious eBay. The list of PCGS authorized dealers lists well over 1000, but there are lots of dead links and shops with no listed inventory. So before I just randomly just started clicking, I figured I would see who everyone else likes.

Unless you’re buying bullion, you’ve got it all backwards. What type of coins are you hoping to find?

I like the way Northeast Coins (Northeast Numismatics) presents their online inventory, NEN who posts here could elaborate.

Legend, Pinnacle Rarities, Angel Dee's, Great Collections, Heritage, Eagle Eye Rare Coins, DLRC.

When I was actively collecting, those were the sites I looked at regularly. It all depends on your interests. I was working on a type set.

Here is a master list that was created years ago by a member. Last update was almost 4 years ago but most links are still good.

Thanks, that will give me a good starting point as well. I'm working on a PCGS 7070 Type Set, so I need a little of everything.

Price range is important too. I don't know if I should send you to JJ Teaparty or Legend. They're both great dealers, but operate in different parts of the market. Etc. etc.

The one with the right coin. Find the right coin first. Try Collectors corner, eBay and
    others listed above.

DLRC - make use of the "make an offer" feature.

The BST here is great. Sure a lot of it is cross posted ebay links, but some of the stuff brought here is very nice. Even just to look at, if nothing else. Most of the linked stuff isn't that bad either. The same can be said for other hobby forums.

These guys come across stuff I don't even see in my local coin shops. A lot don't want to pay the same fees I don't want to pay, and so far everyone here has been accommodating or helpful. I've never met any accusatory or otherwise bad people.

Right now I'm in a bitter battle with someone in another hobby who sent a fake dead-mail package 3 weeks ago and is trying to rip me off via paypal. You don't get that sort of thing here, which is very nice, and you know exactly what you're buying and from whom.

Great list. I recognize several dealers that are nearby where I live. Relatively small inventories compared to the big
sellers but nice to work with.

In addition to those mentioned above, I would also add Gerry Fortin Rare Coins. Best coin descriptions in the industry.

    More like---what dealer/auction house HAVEN'T I used?

A good coin can come from almost ANYWHERE.

I started with eBay, then used HA a lot.

Now, I've been additionally looking at MANY different dealer sites.

I like the ones that show both close up and slab photos and the coin looks the same in both photos. Especially gold coins. When I see a close up that appears to have a nice patina or toning and the slab shot looks like it just came from the mint, it concerns me.
