New PCGS Submission Forms

This year, the PCGS team tackled the huge project of simplifying our submission form to provide collectors with a form that is intuitive, concise and easy to use.

While doing this, it became clear that one of the biggest issues was option and information overload. So we have decided to divide our one massive form into three simplified forms:

U.S. Coin Submissions
World Coin Submissions
Show submissions

The new 2020 PCGS Banknote and PCGs Restoration forms are also now live!

Edit to add:

Much easier read. I’ve submitted quite a bit (old form and online) but always had to refer to prior submissions. Shouldn’t have to do that too often now.

Hopefully submittals from new members will be less painful. I would guess the metric to find out if these new forms are better is a decrease in customer service phone calls on filling out the form. Of course, there will be slight initial learning curve for all.

Needs work... Coin Number Column and Coin Description columns are too small, Quantity and Declared Value Columns are way too bid.

Did they ever fix the online submission form so it doesn't need to be done in one sitting and the scrolling through the coin descriptions goes beyond 3 or 4 coins?

Much cleaner than the old forms, although they'll fall out of my typewriter when filling in the total at the bottom of the page.

You think I kid. I have one of these (including case) that I use for multipart forms once in a while.

Heh, I've got a Royal from the 1940s that got me through college (in the 1980s)! Haven't used it in about 35 years, however.

Print on 11x17 paper and submit it that way. I actually did this with a resume someone had written for an intern position. They were probably told by an adviser telling them simply to limit their resume to one page, and proceeded to shrink the font down to something like 6 point. We needed to fill the position with someone from that university, and I found some of the stuff she did interesting, but I printed the resume 11x17 and took it to the interview. After we hired her, I gave her a short course on how to write a resume. I should have given her one piece of paper and my Olivetti Lettera 22 and had her redo it. That would have been amusing in so many ways.

Placing tokens and medals into "special issues" with a price of $65 is in my opinion a very bad mistake. They used to be simply submitted under the appropriate tier of service. As the popularity of exonumia continues to grow and the desire for slabbing increases, the opportunity to draw more people to PCGS is here now.
You guys provide the best service, the best holder, and the photography cannot be beat. But who will continue to submit their tokens and medals at twice the price?
It is hard to understand this move.

I agree. They recently established an economy tier for colonials, so I was surprised to see this. Also error coins are all in the $65 tier. It would seem they're writing off a lot of the error market here.

I attempted to fill out a US Submission fillable PDF form, but when I got to the CC # the digits appeared so large that all you could see was the bottom third of the #'s with the rest being hidden by the line above. Anybody else have this issue? Thanks

Never filled out a more complicated form in my life. Hopefully the new ones will be more user friendly however it would be nice to have some sort of modern electronic submission form. Thanks!

I will say this much, using the online submission process is much simpler and streamlined than using this or the previous form. I don't like it.

Where does one find coin numbers for tokens. Say coal scrip or WV cwt. Or say a MelWacks prototype trial strike?

these are good questions. while most/many non-standard numbers can be located at the PCGS site the online form pulls the numbers up automatically.

I see a place for vouchers near the bottom of the form. Does this mean we can include other submissions with the ones for vouchers on the same form and save us submission and return shipping fees?????
