Is this coin a DDR? I have looked at Variety Vista and Wexler's and yet I can't seem to find one. Looks like a split serif on bottom of R in Pluribus. And lines are evident in United and in Cent.

The R does appear to show the split serif.

But it also appears to be blisters(?) all around EPU Don’t know if this is the cause of the R.

And the bottom halves of STA of States appear to be flattened as compared to other letters.

Your pic appears to show a very nice luster on the cent.

Edit to add: The pic with the edge of the Memorial (under the letters NI) seems to show a double on the second level, too.

Leaning toward DDR-002. There are different die states and yours appears in between B and C.

This a Denver and Variety did not have any to look at.

Still, it has the spread on the letters, and similar doubles, might be a new DD for the 83-D. Might.

Need more eyes/opinions on this.

It sure does and I didn’t even notice that until you said something, Thanks.
After I get done chasing lil white balls today I will compare that to other ‘83’s.

Also look at LIBERTY , and check both Y's, .
Looks skinny.
The, 83 is not a Denver.

I have many just put away , may take some time.

Looks like there is machine doubling on United & Cent.
The area around E.P.U. has lots of bubbles and there is a fair chance what you are seeing is an anomaly of the bubbles.

I never seen machine doubling that looks like that - Until now
