What To Do....with all those quarter rolls
I have about $1300 in coin rolls that consist mostly of state quarters (about $500) and presidential dollars (about $700).They are all new from the bank (acquired at the time they were issued)-some in clear plastic, some in paper rolls.I've checked over eBay's results and, for the rolls I have, there is a tiny margin after shipping and fees so, for me personally, I don't consider eBay a good option.I will be at the FUN in January but the weight is too much to try to lug them around.I am getting ready to take them all to the bank at face....any better suggestions are asked for and welcome.

I cashed all of mine in for face a couple of years ago and put the money to better use.

Agree with @1630Boston, open them for a look, but then head out to the bank.
What states? I might pay a small premium for certain ones... (DE, KY, WI, NY, MA and maybe a few others.)
Postage is still the killer though, unless there are enough rolls of interest.
Check the Presidential dollars for missing edge lettering.
I had a complete set of bank rolls (P's and D's) for the Statehood quarter series. Making 100 rolls and they took up too much room. I dumped them all a few years ago at face, except maybe ~10 rolls that "may" have a little value.
If you have a roll of Utah P mint, I need ONE (not a roll, but would look through the roll to find a nice example of one) of those for my state quarter set... just sayin'...
Cash them in and buy yourself something Nice! Something that you never knew you wanted until you see it! Splurge a little.
Look thru the rolls that have known varieties - and take the rest to the bank, or bundle them and sell in bulk.
Cherry pickers varieties include the WI-D, MN-P, OR-P, WY-P, DC-D, DC-P
For the dollars Washington,, Adams, Jefferson are on the list.

Cash them in. Trying to get a small premium for them may actually cost you more money than you might make ... and then there is the time factor.
coinstar!
Governments can print currency. Only the people can print faith in it — and they’re running low on ink.
I tried to sell a group of rolls a while back that had greysheet bids of $20-$40 each, best offers I got netted me right around face value after shipping.
Good luck- may the force be with you.
Yep, just select gift card for payment so you don't have to eat the 11.9% fee.

Wooooha! Did someone just say it's officially "TACO™" Tuesday????
Retiring at 55, what day is today?
I found a buyer locally who will pick them up.I did pick out 3 quarter rolls (1 WY,2 Virgin Islands) and 3 rolls of pennies 2009 as they seemed to sell for a bit more than the other stuff. Thanks for all the responses!!
I would search them for errors and varieties and then use the rest in change or cash them in at the bank.
Why throw away money? The coins are already rolled.
The presidential dollars do sell for a premium if you can find a buyer. Take them to show and you should be able to get more that face.

A local buyer, maybe. Nobody who has to get on a plane is going to want to carry them home.
Yes local I was meaning a local show. Not a National cross country show

Wouldn't it be easier to just call the local dealers to see if anybody is interested?
