Its time to part with this silver coin i bought 30 or 40? years ago from this shipwreck. What would it be worth? I can post some pictures. this coin has a whole story about who struck it and what lot it came from. I have a picture of me with the Son, i tried on a $40,000.00 gold neckless. ( the guard remembered i had it on! ) My first post.. I thank you.

Check out eBay. Type in Atocha 8 reales and see the prices there for a good idea of the range. It’ll depend on condition of the coin, whether it’s dated, etc. feel free to post pics here as well.
Pictures absolutely necessary. Photos of receipts might be helpful too. Mel Fisher was a great man, but there are many allegations that his sales operation churned out some dubious artifacts.
