I went to the meeting last night. I used to go on a somewhat regular basis and haven’t been there for years, but I had the opportunity to go last night and I’m so glad I did.

I met a couple of cool people which was really nice, one of them who I found out is a member here - @KindaNewish (great talking to you). Dinner was good as was the conversation, including all the show and tell pieces we brought.

Always nice to get together and chat about coins and what’s going on today.
I definitely highly recommend this club to anyone local looking for a nice bunch of people interested in coins and a great night.

Dave

Coin clubs are great, as they allow you to socialize with other people interested in coins. It also seems they are responsible for organizing most of the coin shows.

My club is great for education, and the club across town has an auction every week. So it is good to find a club that fits your taste.

Thanks Dave, It was my pleasure to meet you guys and see the cool stuff passed around.
A small but highly recommended gathering with enthusiastic fellow collectors sharing interesting war stories along with some stunning pieces. Well worth the drive from Jersey.

And I really liked listening and learning new things. I didn't know about 50c Pan-Pac die marriages or that there even was such a thing as an XXX rated bust half!

Also such a neat set of Washington medals that made thier way around the table that I've never seen before, the little block of brass that I brought for show n' tell was the least of the things that were there!

I'll probably see you guys in Baltimore next week, but I will cough up the tolls to visit you guys on your home turf again.
And its good to know that we all look exactly like our avatars.
