Accugrade experts?

I see these Accugrade holders from time to time. Obviously they're from the 1980's.
Is there any meaningful difference between the blue label and the white label?
They actually look reasonably accurately graded. Especially the blue label.

    Different generations. I believe the top one (blue label) is earlier.

    I have one 1923 Peace Dollar Blue label 18795G1 A3-64c. What ever that means if it's any help. It say ACCUGRADE-91 Greenwich, CT 06830 on the back.

    I have a couple but do not know the story on which generation is earliest, haven't seen one in quite awhile in the wild myself these seem to be getting more and more scarce.

    Yep, I think you're right about the blue being earlier. Now that I bothered looking at them closely I see that a Surface description of "3" changed from "Dull" to "Cleaned" (the more up-to-date term). And also the white label adds "Morgan".

    @AlexinPA when you flipped it over, did you notice the chart? A = Full strike, 3 = Dull (Cleaned) in some versions, 64 is the grade and the small c = commercial grade. All explained in the book, which you can find periodically on fleaBay.

    Commercial Grade (i.e. market grading) as opposed to technical grading per the ANA standards of the era.

    As far as I know, nobody has figured out what the -54 -91 (and several other numbers) mean.

    Yes, the blue label, black&white picture is older than the version with the color photo.

    The "White" label is actually beige and has red and blue fibers - a security label as it were.

    Since the white/beige label coin has rotated 90 degrees in the slab, I think I'll call it a rattler and ask MS66 money for it :D

    Plentiful is probably the wrong word. These haven’t been made on a long time and fell out of favor similarly long ago. I rarely see them at shows and assume it’s a mix of coins squirreled in collections and coins broken out of the holders. I wouldn’t say it’s a valuable holder the way a doily is (not even close) but it’s not really a common sight anymore.

    Those ACG holders are getting tougher to find all the time. Not really much premium for them unfortunately, but you will not see many.

    The Accugrade slabs with the Greenwich CT location on the reverse side are really getting harder to find. Not much of a premium yet but that will change soon. In fact, the less expensive the coin, the greater the premium.

    I have not seen many photo certs with Florida on the back. I was underbidder on this, the 3 in the grade (which I assume means cleaned) kept me from going higher. The cert number in the picture is different than on the slab, although the coin pictures match.
