Received an older note in change

Anyone know when this was printed? I know it says 1963 but my understanding they were also made at a later date with the 1963 date on them. TIA

My question is how did you get that in change? Did you spend a $500 or $1000 bill??

I guess I should have said exchange. Received it at a local casino.

Your 1963A $100 was printed somewhere between 04/65 and 10/66.
