What card from any sport or facet of collecting goes on your headstone....?? If you collect COINS....put it up there!! This should be fascinating.... I'm pondering mine now .....will share when it hits me... This after my wife uttered, in a bit of sarcasm, that I should put a baseball card on my headstone....lol. You know, maybe she is right.

1961 Quaker Oats Phiz Quiz Joe Louis. This card is extremely rare and hard to find. It gave me fits before I finally found it. It was a cut out card that came on boxes of Quaker Oats Puffed Wheat back in 1961. After most people finished eating the puffed wheat, they just threw the box away, so a lot of these were thrown away back then.

1972 Billy Martin. Nice and discreet like.
I am a huge Cubs fan. I took a dishwashing job in high school and used the money to buy season tickets and have had them ever since. (Back then a pair of tickets in the Upper Deck for every weekend or night game was $440).
Luckily my career has kept pace with the ever increasing MLB prices. After 26 years as a season ticket holder I went to my first World Series games. I attended games 2 and 4 at Wrigley Field and sold game 3 to finance games 6 and 7 in Cleveland. Prices were stronger than I anticipated so I was only able to go to Game 7 there. It will most definitely be the greatest Sporting Event I ever attend. This card captures that moment perfectly.
While I have many cards more valuable - the picture on this card most defines my life-long love affair with baseball and the Cubs. It is an easy choice in this theoretical question.
Thanks to Topps' "build your own card" program I would go with this one as it i me during my first year working for the team and my brother in poses we would rather have redone but a picture I would never want to be without.

There'll be two dates on your tombstone And all your friends will read 'em But all that's gonna matter is that little dash between 'em.
