How does the minimum grade option work?

I am more of a vintage submitter. I have not submitted any cards requesting a minimum grade.

Over the years I have gotten some rookie cards (Modano, Favre, Chipper) that aren't worth much unless they grade a "10".

How does it work if I sent 20 of these in with a minimum grade of 10 and only 6 got 10's? What would PSA charge me?

    I believe you still get charged the same submission fee. The idea is you don’t have to crack all the cards out that have grades that are of no use to you.

    I am same as you but as I recall reading that if you set a minimum grade and it doesn’t hit the threshold, you are charged as they still did all necessary steps leading up to items evaluated the card.

    I was hoping you got some kind of "break" if the card didn't meet minimum grade, seeing as how it doesn't get slabbed.

    Other than not having to crack out the 9's and lower, no advantage to submitting with a minimum grade?

    Wow. Favre Upper Deck rookies aren't even worth much in a 10. :-(
