...watch your lips old timer...no need to call me stupid...I’m saying that whenever you say to buy; we sell...if you should speculate that we should sell; then we buy...if you like the Jets tomorrow night; we bet the Giants...that’s all
Gold just dipped below $1500. Today should be an interesting day.
After this fast gold price run up, some profit taking should be expected.

first things first, you attributed something to me that I didn't say, so I'll call you out on it every time.
now, as to being stupid, yes, I said that and I meant it. let's assume I did say "Buy Gold" and you sold: in this case, big mistake. when I allegedly said that, Gold was around $1,400. now it is around $1,500 so you lost money. if you had bought at $1,400 and sold now you would be $100 ahead.
so yes, your reasoning was STUPID.
I used to smoke a lot of dope when I was younger so I know what I'm talking about. It interferes with reasoning and cognitive functioning, but it does make you happy. I suggest, based only my own experience, that you don't smoke any reefer and then try to make any important financial or life influencing decisions. you may not regret it immediately, but the day will come when you see the error of your ways.

You're being too literal. His point was that you were wrong about the direction, not that you said to buy. You suggested a couple times that gold would be settling back. [Which was true at dinne points this summer. ]

jm, then then he should have said that. there's enough BS on this site without starting some. speaking of being literal, you agreed with me!! and not that it matters, but I actually posted that I could be wrong because I've been wrong before and the agree that a nice "rally" was underway.
I have no regret about what I said on page one or about my defense on page two. if you wanna smoke dope and accuse me of saying things I didn't say, then have at it. just don't be surprised when I call the BS what it is,

I bought a coin shop ten years ago. Gold was $900. Silver was $10.
Here we are today. Talk, talk, talk.
It goes up. It goes down.
Watched a fellow buy as much as he could when silver hit $45 and gold was near $1900.

As gold edges upward, just uncertainty in the markets or the new norm?
uncertainty in the markets. I would be really careful here. If uncertainty continues with the economy and the trade war, we could trade much higher. If that storm passes, we could drop $100 in a day.

Brian, from what I’ve heard, you’re using your paper, not for writing, but for rolling doobies!! You’re gonna be doing a lot of doobie-rolling when you’re living in a van down by the river!

A little levity from the heated dope smoking references above.
For purposes of this thread, today's position of some likely significance for having bounced back up above 1500 after having recently tested the waters below 1500.

We come to the end of another week and thanks in part to the China trade war gold is again on the uptick.
"in part"?
I would say "thanks in whole..."
I would remain cautious as any resolution on the China front could see the biggest 1-Day drop in gold in a decade.

no, it's a 6 year high, early 2013 was the last time it was this high
wasn't it $1545 for a couple hours last weekend?
Wow, big jump in metal prices this morning.
Silver broke through $19 and gold over $1550!
I assume you are looking at the futures numbers not the spot price
