Some of those stickers, once they have aged and hardened are a nightmare.

I don't really care what's on the slab, so I just leave any extraneous coin shop or ebay stickers, mostly because I'm lazy. I mean, once you start peeling, then you have to deal with getting the remaining crap off of there. I suppose I would clean them up if I ever sold anything.

All dealer & auction stickers are removed and stuck on the invoice then filed away.
Same here but now I wonder why I even bother keeping it. I have the invoice for tax purposes and I enter the coin with all pertinent information in my spreadsheet so why do I need the sticker(s)?
it's crackers to slip a rozzer the dropsy in snide
For many years, I kept all stickers on, even the Heritage Auction Lot stickers surrounding the top of the slab. Then I realized a few months ago that over time, some became difficult to remove due to time passing, including damage to the PCGS hologram, as shown by one of the posters above. So I removed ALL stickers and residue from all of my slabs. and I'm much happier. I now remove all stickers and residue as I receive each new coin.
Additionally, when selling a coin, the buyer might subconsciously think less of the coin if the back is gummy or damaged. Why take that risk?
A day without fine wine and working on your coin collection is like a day without sunshine!!!
Well it seems as though I will be getting my slabs out and removing stickers. I have two separate databases where the information is kept anyway and keeping them on may be just too much redundancy. I like the idea (thanks @BryceM) of fixing them to the invoice- from now on.
If you have a hard to remove sticker swab it with Goo-gone,,,,, soak it down good and let it soak thru the sticker,,,,, if still hard to remove keep adding it as you pull the sticker up and let it run toward the still stuck part of the sticker. I used to pull those old hologram off removing stickers until I started doing this.

I use GooGone myself - smells much better than the WD-40 I used to use.

I remove all the stickers (GC, Heritage, Stacks, dealer prices, etc).
When some of these stickers stay on too long they can leave a residue on the slab. I tend to prefer that the slabs stay as clean as possible (so that nothing distracts from the coin).
The worst are the stickers that are placed over the NGC or PCGS hologram (mainly on older holders). Those are the cause of many damaged holograms (like the following example I pulled from eBay).

I forgot how to do it. But, now I remember....sorry.
I remove all stickers (but the green/gold ones) and affix them to the invoice. It then gets filed for tax purposes.

I think I should buy slabs with any sticker on it. The way this place is sticker gone wild. Might make a few sales.
Power to any sticker. They should include a stick of gum too.

Nothing ruins a slab quicker than slapping stickers all over them. I despise them all, especially those cac ones.
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

I remove them all immediately. Started in the old days of Teletrade by phone.
