They don"t look small in the picture!!!!!!!!
    look nice and big!!!!!

I don't presently have any comparison/scale pix of these particular ones, but here is one from Mysore, in the reign of Tipu Sultan, which is actually dated. (AH1200; circa 1786).

Here is how it looked in comparison to my thumb when it first came out of the envelope I received it in.

PCGS later graded it MS62. (It is presently pop. 1/0, since I'm obviously the only person who ever bothered to submit one. It looks crazy small in the holder!)

The ones here in this giveaway might even be a tiny bit smaller than that Tipu Sultan Mysore piece, but not by much, if so. They're pretty close. Maybe 7-8 mm or so, if I were to venture a wild guess. I'll have to measure and weigh some later.

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

Neat Rob. At 7-8 mm, that is even smaller than the 'Panama Pill' @ 10 mm.

BTW, I finally got around to measuring these and most are 6-7 mm, and all of the ones I weighed were 0.36 g.

I believe I read somewhere that the gold content in these varies from 40% to 80%, but considering the good yellowish color of these particular examples, I'd say they're at the higher end of that spectrum, with pretty good gold content.

In any event, there's not much bullion there (or I wouldn't be able to give such things away, right?) ;)

But the price is right, at any rate. Free gold is free gold. :)
